－A New Chapter Begins－

From January 24 to February 1, 2026, MD PRODUCT hosted a 9-day event at SPACE D9 GALLERY in Shibuya, Tokyo, marking a new chapter in our journey.

The exhibition was designed to embody our core philosophy: "Pausing moves you forward." Explore the scenes from the event that brought our brand concept to life.

A space to experience "Yohaku" with all five senses

Stepping away from the bustle and through the gallery doors, you are greeted by countless white motifs dancing from the ceiling like clouds. These are made of kanreisha, the pure material used to reinforce the spine of the MD Notebook and an iconic symbol of the notebook.

The theme of the venue is "To pause and reflect." We invite you to rediscover your own inner Yohaku away from the daily rush. With this aim in mind, we pursued a minimal beauty in every detail, from the exhibition fixtures to the subtle interplay of light and shadow.

Products marking the beginning of a new chapter

The centerpiece of this event was the exhibition and demonstration of the MD Scent Clock.

The space was quietly inhabited by products that embrace the unadorned charm of paper, items designed to enrich the act of writing, and exclusive pieces available only at the venue.

As the MD Scent Clock was lit to mark the passage of time through live demonstrations, visitors held the products in their hands, experiencing the textures and the dedication to craftsmanship through all five senses.

My Desk, My Style

In one corner of the venue, we presented "My Desk, My Style," an installation reimagining the workspaces of creators and long-time users.

A desk with an MD Notebook is more than just a workspace; it is a vital sanctuary for organizing thoughts and cultivating new ideas. Through these real-life scenes, we showcased how MD PRODUCTS naturally integrate into different lifestyles. It was moving to see visitors captivated by the harmony between the cherished personal belongings and the notebooks on display.

A dedicated area was set up for visitors to freely experience MD PAPER.

Some captured their thoughts on the paper, crafted for ultimate writing comfort, while others began sketching with their favorite pens. In response to our question, "What does Pause Time mean to you?", many inscribed the words and their most cherished thoughts surfacing in their minds.

Our commitment to paper was also on display. By revealing the craftsmanship behind MD PAPER, we hoped to convey the passion poured into every single notebook. We aimed for an exhibition that gradually brings our products closer to those who use them.

Alongside the lingering resonance of the exhibition, our POP UP STORE featured a curated collection of MD PRODUCT items.

The selection included online-exclusive items usually seen only on screen, new products marking our new chapter, and special pieces found only at the venue.
The "MD Pause Time Omikuji" and exclusive stamps were particular highlights. We saw visitors savoring the messages they drew and carefully imprinting the stamps into their notebooks, whether their own or the A7-size notebooks perfectly suited for the design. These scenes of guests bringing home a personalized memory of the event made the space truly warm and special.
